Some people are born to sing
Some people are born to flower

That lasts beyond life’s hour
The soul trapped in the span of time
Dreams beyond its being
Like a songbird may be in a cage
But sings of all its seeing.

Some men sing of war
and all that’s gone before us
Some of Gods and circumstance
The Happy and the Glorious

So as a songbird to a mate
